In Forest Hills, a community named and developed by Cord Meyer Jr., stands the 10 story award winning Cord Meyer Office Building, located at 108-18 Queens Boulevard. Nearby, at 111-15 Queens Boulevard, is the Forester building, hosting a 64,500 square foot structure, with residential, commercial units and a garage. The modest Queens Windsor building at 108-36/50 Queens Boulevard has both offices and retail, with a new Commerce Bank becoming the anchor of the building. Cord Meyer had operated a number of apartment buildings in Queens and was successful in converting all to Cooperative Apartment buildings. Additional retail space is located on Austin Street in Forest Hills, Jackson Heights, and Continental Avenue. As Cord Meyer Development Company was incorporated in 1904, and later converting to Cord Meyer Development LLC in 1997, it moves into its next 100 years with a vision to expand its commercial and residential base in Queens and shall seek other opportunities in and outside the metropolitan area. Sal Panico is certainly no stranger to Cord Meyer, as he's been affiliated with the Company over 12 years. Sal was the chief consultant on all of Cord Meyer and Cord Meyer's affiliate companies development projects starting with the additions at The Bay Terrace, Bayside, to the Woodside Shopping Center on Northern Boulevard, Jackson Heights. Sal's sharp insight, experience, and knowledge of construction and development made perfect sense in being chosen as Cord Meyer's new CEO. His talents will move Cord Meyer in new and exciting directions! Anthony J. Colletti, who started 20 years ago as Controller of Cord Meyer, with a well deserved promotion to Chief Financial Officer, is Cord Meyer's most valuable asset. His knowledge of Cord Meyer along with his continued energy to strive for excellence motivates the entire Cord Meyer staff, resulting in Cord Meyer's great successes! In a short period of time, both Sal and Anthony have all ready made record breaking accomplishments by increasing the Companies revenues over the last two years, as well as purchasing the Bergen Hills golf course, sale of 31st Avenue property in Woodside, and the future sale of Ocean Park property.
